Prior to today, I'd have been happy about that. But now I'm highly concerned about hippie Michelle "fight the power" being First Lady.

I hate to say it, but I may vote for ol' McCain after all.

Perhaps if she asks nicely, Obama will consider her for secretary of health.

So you can have Ms. Fight Da Power as first lady or Ms. Drug Abuser... some choice.

...me into that one. My reaction is no way she'll play second fiddle. Her life isn't over. Maybe run for governor, build that resume?

I do...

...think it is of very large note that Hillary is done. Does she reconcile from here on out? Does she go down swinging? She still has the war as THE difference between them. Will the party power brokers plead with her to go quietly for the sake of the party?

Obama v. McCain.

Oh you'll like this, then..

Michelle Obama Finds a Redeeming Quality in America..

Michelle Obama has been an adult since 1982. But it took until now for her to discover a reason to be proud of America. Here she is milking applause from Obama Nation:
For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my country … not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change.
The greatest country in human history has one redeeming quality from her point of view: it's willingness to change into some other country.
The significance of this remark can't be overstated. We are seriously considering turning over the leadership of America to people who despise it.

Obama v. McCain.
She does have a few tricks up her sleeve. At least two big ones.

Michigan and Florida. Since their delegates weren't going to count at all, Obama and others didn't bother to campaign there - but Hillary did. Now there's movement afoot to "let every vote count" and have a revote. Depending on what she does and what happens between now and June, she could grab the lion's share of their delegates - and votes. If they re-vote those states and Hillary wins, she wins the delegates AND the popular vote - and wins the nomination.

She already has the largest portion of the superdelegates who have announced their pledge.

And right now, Michele Obama has the ability to sink his campaign just as easily as Teresa Kerry did.

Agreed. There's no good reason for her to ever accept being VP, especially if Obama doesn't place much value on her input - the VP position will be a dead-end for her politically, and for life.

That and - well I've said this before - would YOU want to be President, knowing the ONLY thing preventing Hillary from being President is your beating heart?

"Hillary, as long as I'm alive, *I'm* the President"
"That's right, Barack - as long as you're *alive*"
