| Heck if... ...I know. If you cheat, if you break your vows to your spouse, you'll sure as hell will break them to anyone else. Clinton was a cheater and he governed that way; dishonest. Many media sources didn't feel that way, so, I'm interested in if they've changed their minds, are being hypocritical or are just playing politics.

When it was Clinton, it was supposed to be "just about sex" and the other supposed peccadilloes, "a private matter between he & Hillary". (blah blah blah)

| So... ...the timing of this 8 year old story that the times has been sitting on for some time? I guess to keep the story of Hillary being blown out in Wisconsin off the top of the list?

| Jon Stewart said something along the lines that maybe John McCain started the rumor to make himself seem younger. I'm paraphrasing horribly - it was actually pretty funny and right before that he said he had the utmost respect for McCain and his family and that it was sad that it was even a part of politics when we should only be concerned with the issues. This story sure has legs it's on every station. |

| It's amazing what the extreme right wing wackoes will come up with. If they've gone to this level, John McCain must be doing something right.

Larry Sinclair looks and sounds like a nut and he definitely seem to have a beef with Obama (no pun intended).

| Sorry - read my post again, your post again not getting your point at all. I'm not sure IF McCain had an affair that it should matter but I would imagine if Hillary or Obama reportedly had an affair that Fox would be positively drooling. Imagine if Hillary and Obama had an affair together hmmmm....on that note I think I'll get ready for bed. |

| While we're on the subject of rumors... "Mr. Obama is 50% Caucasian, that from his mother. What those who want Mr. Obama to write history by becoming "America's first African-American president" ignore is that his father was ethnically Arabic, with only 1 relative - a maternal grandparent, ethnically African Negro. That means that Mr. Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side, and 43.75% Arabic, and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side. The question no one wants to answer - particularly Mr. Obama and his supporters, is, "Why do you think he has an Arabic name? Why does his father have an Arabic name? Why does every ancestor on his father's side have an Arabic name?" The answer is obvious: They have Arabic names because his father's side of the family tree is Arabic. Need proof? Research the Kenyan records for yourself. You will find that his father was officially classified as "Arab African" by the Kenyan government." _________ Let me add that Barack Hussein Obama is formerly known as Barry Soetoro. |

Well, that story came out before McCain was the "presumptive nominee" - so it's unlikely it was from the Republican side. But it's totally Clinton-esque. For sure, Larry Sinclair looks & sounds like a nut - but that never stopped Billary in the past. More importantly, you didn't see that story in the NYT. But if there's a hint that John McCain has had an affair with a lobbyist (even tho' the story may be 8 years old) - well - that story is already on all the cable channels & probably the lead story in most newspapers tomorrow. You'd think they'd located Osama Bin Laden's cave or something! ![]() **disclaimer: don't blame me, I voted for Mitt. Maybe it's good he only suspended his campaign?! No matter, I'll hold my nose & vote McCain in Nov. and would walk on broken glass to do so. Last edited by Bann : 02-20-2008 at 11:32 PM.
