| Being next in line for the throne of England, doesn't stop the royal princes from serving in combat environments. |

-From The WaPo British military officials confirmed that Harry, 23, third in line to the British throne, deployed to Afghanistan on Dec. 14 and has been fighting Taliban forces from a forward operating base in southern Helmand province.

| Clintons didn't have to worry about it. Bubba couldn't father a son. (or maybe a daughter).

| True, but the queen doesn't have direct control over military forces. McCain would. It would not be prudent to put his children in a position where they could be captured by the enemy. He might be able to put the good of the country over the good of his family, but do we really want to test that theory? And do we have to? How easy it would be to reassign his kids and never have to worry about it. They are only 19 and 21, it's not like they have valuable, irreplaceable experience.

| How is this any different than when Mccain was serving? He was the son and grandson of Admirals... |

![]() Don't you think in this day and age where a picture of Britney Spears privates makes it around the world in seconds that the information about a presidents son wouldn't circulate just as quickly? I am sure Al-Queda has a britney box shot somewhere but taking out the Presidents son on Al-Jezeera would have a catasrophic impact on the presidency and the war effort. Just my opinion and hurray for no karma! LOL
