Stupid question; stupid response.
I thought her response was brash, rude and mouthy.

Of course we all know the answer to the Monica questions: Shrilly stayed with Slick Willy so she could play the victim card all the way up to her Inauguration.

Too bad that's not going to happen (or at least I don't think it will).

If Shrillary becomes President, then we know. The process is rigged.

That whole situation had plenty of air time way back when. Chelsea was right to say what she said. Everything played out and, at this point, it's a family matter.

Her handlers never expected that sort of question so likely her answer was one that was not rehearsed. Had it been, she probably would have said "Read my Book"

But, the question wasn't about Monica, or Bill lying, or subjourning purjory, or anything like that. The question was about how the presidential candidate handled it, with lies/spin, or being outright blind to an obvious and repeatedly demonstrated proof. The question was whether the presidential candidate's inability to either recognize the truth, or speak it, hurt's her credibility today.

Sort of like assessing Barry on how he handled his pastor crisis. It's only partly about what actually happened, and partly about the character of the presidential candidate in handling personnel and assessing information given.

There's no such thing as "a family matter" when it comes to the presidency. They know that going in, so they just look silly if they try to complain about it.

Pete's 1st post left of the 's credibility.

I overheard this on Fox while I was getting dressed this morning, so I was actually more focused on getting dressed than little words.

Since credibility was mentioned and not just how she felt about it emotionally, than your response would have been brilliant, not stupid at all. Seems like she was caught completely off guard with that stupid question.

This_Person,

I'm not clear on your response.

A person's inability to recognize lies and deceit isn't a credibility issue to the person fooled, IMO. Maybe I am not clear on your point.

I'm saying it was either one thing or the other - either she lied (credibility of her words), or she's unable to see something even after it's been repeatedly proven to her (his infidelity)-(her credibility to be president and see what should be seen).

...you.

She's not a kid anymore so, let's not play kids games and pretend this question was out of the blue and her response wasn't figured out some time ago. She has now chosen to actively be part of the 'it's just sex' brigade of moral relativists.

Too bad for her.
