Chelsea Clinton

Was asked yesterday by a collage student how the Monica fiasco affected her mother.

Chelsea said "Nunya"

I saw that on the news this morning. She did well.

She seems to be more grounded and level headed than her parents.

I disagree. If Chelsea wants to go on the campaign trail for her Mama, she probably should be ready for questions such as this. "None of your business" does not apply to a presidential candidate's credibility.

A better response would have been something like, "I do not think my Dad's personal misjudgment affects my mother's credibility at all. They are two separate issues. Next question..."

Stupid question; stupid response.

She was asked if blaming the situation on the vast right-wing conspiracy (in other words, her mother's blatant lying/spin and/or blind spot to obvious and repeatedly proven truths) hurt her mother's credibility, not how it effected her.

It was a valid question for someone who was out there to promote a presidential candidate.

It was a cheap shot to ask her daughter, but if her daughter put herself out there......

She is mommy and daddy's little girl though. She spun the question with her non-answer, thus making her look like the injured party, instead of facing the issue.

She should have said "It's all in her book. Buy a copy."

Okay. That would have been a better response.
