I am at a loss for your point?

Could you point out in any of those links from MSNBC, which you by the way claim yourself is not a legitimate news source, says that 60% or 80% of the nations 600,000 bridges are on the "VERGE OF COLLAPSE"?

How is it that the construction work did not cause the collapse? They added more weight to it on top of the amount of vehicular weight from every day use.

Because two years prior they had done major work on the bridge with the same amount of vehicular traffic and there was no collapse.

What they were doing there was simple resurfacing work and it was the first thing everyone thought caused the problem and was almost immediately cited by numerous local news sources as not being the cause of the collapse nor contributing to it.

I'm just really really sick of hearing about the bridge collapse and how everyone seems to know what went wrong and no one wants to place the blame on anyone else for why it collapsed.

I know people who were personally affected by the bridge collapse. Had it been any other day but the day it collapsed I'd have been on that bridge when it did, and had in fact been on the bridge only 2 hours before.

Right. They had a renovation that added weight to the structure. Then they had another, the one you are referencing, that added even more weight to the structure. Then they loaded 90 tons of gravel or whatever onto the bridge and it broked.

When you say "Popeye" it bothers me because I was in the Navy and Popeye was a Sailor and he used to eat spinach but I really didn't like to eat spinach despite being a Sailor like Popeye, and when I was a kid My mom had to work and she hired this old lady baby sitter and she made me eat spinach every meal and I had to eat it all despite not liking spinach and it caused me real emotional pain so now when I see anyone force feeding their kid spinach I get all up in their face because one day a bridge may collapse and people may be greatly affected by that catastrophe that may have been prevented if the gay engineer who designed it made a crucial mistake because he suffered from an iron deficiency and could not concentrate all because he hated spinach!
