I'm just really really sick of hearing about the bridge collapse and how everyone seems to know what went wrong and no one wants to place the blame on anyone else for why it collapsed.

I know people who were personally affected by the bridge collapse. Had it been any other day but the day it collapsed I'd have been on that bridge when it did, and had in fact been on the bridge only 2 hours before.
Pray for Omarion.

Ha! The funniest part of the "gays prancing on it" remark is that it literally is not that far from the "gay district" in Minneapolis, with the biggest gay bar, The Gay 90's, sitting on the near the corner of Hennepin and Washington Avenues.

So...as you stated....the construction work done to the bridge caused the collapse. Let me dumb it down a bit for you. Construction work = added weight + vehicular weight = collapse.

Let's get this straight. "Local news sorces" immediately said resurfacing work did not cause or contribute to the collapse.

Months later, after looking at the evidence, conducting extensive tests, analyzing designs, and modeling stress loads, the NTSB comes to the conclusion that the construction work contributed to the collapse.

And you are sticking to the "local news dude" as your definitive source.

The local news doesn't need to use all that money, resources, and logic to come up with a definitive conclusion. They are much more intune with their local construction than a team of much more knoweldgable people willing to take the time in figuring out what when wrong.
Just another person that agrees to what the media says instead of thinking outside of the box, doing some homework, and listening to the facts.
