Watergate-Era Judiciary Chief of Staff: Hillary Clinton Fired For Lies, Unethical Behavior

The now-retired general counsel and chief of staff of the House Judiciary Committee, who supervised Hillary when she worked on the Watergate investigation, says Hillary’s history of lies and unethical behavior goes back farther – and goes much deeper – than anyone realizes.

Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy’s chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation – one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman’s 17-year career.

Why?

“Because she was a liar,” Zeifman said in an interview last week. “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”

How could a 27-year-old House staff member do all that? She couldn’t do it by herself, but Zeifman said she was one of several individuals – including Marshall, special counsel John Doar and senior associate special counsel (and future Clinton White House Counsel) Bernard Nussbaum – who engaged in a seemingly implausible scheme to deny Richard Nixon the right to counsel during the investigation.

I dont doubt the veracity of this article for one second.

However it certainly wont hurt Hillary's shot at the Presidency.

Anyone with the sense God gave a Billgoat already knows Hillary is a liar who will go to any length to win. To use what power she has to intimidate or destroy her enemies.

She is a truly despicable excuse for a human being with a predilection for power that she has assumed should be hers. The only good thing I see about her unstoppable thirst for power is the fact that she is hurting the Democrat party and making it harder for her rival , a political amateur, who happens to give good speech, to become President.

There is no one in politics who I despise more than Hillary Clinton, but I'm always suspicious of articles that appear to confirm everyone's worst suspicions about a politician and ties them up in a pretty bow. In this case, it confirms she's a liar, likes to hide files, tried to deny someone their rights, etc.

A Google of Jerry Zeifman shows that he has a website (Home), and, big surprise, that he's an author trying to sell books. Looking further, you see that in order to buy his books you are not directed Borders, or Amazon.com, but to send a check or Money Order to his wife Marrianne. His books are published by a little publisher called Thunder Mouth Press, and since TMP is not distributing them and the Zeifmans are selling them directly, I am guessing that TMP is acting as a vanity publisher, meaning Zeifman had to pay them to print his book. Given the nature of his charges, I find it hard to believe that if he had any credibility at all that some conservative books publisher would not have been knocking his door down... but they didn't.

A further check of his website reveals one reason why no one but blogs seem to listen to this guy. Not once, but twice, Zeifman claims that none other than Eleanor Roosevelt came to him in dreams and gave him lengthy interviews about her views of the current political picture! It would seem that the spirit of the former First Lady has a lot of spare time to watch the 24-hour news shows as she seems to be very well versed in what's going on. I mean, how can you not take seriously the words and thoughts of a guy who's opening lines at his website are "On January 22, 2008 I published an article describing a dream I had in which I “interviewed” Mrs. Roosevelt – who endorsed Barack Obama for the Democratic nomination for President. Last night the former First Lady came again to me in dream. Following is a sequel to our prior conversation."?

Lastly, the guy has an article posted that he wrote back in 1996, where he's listing all the reasons that Bill Clinton should not be re-elected, and trashes Bill and Hillary as a sleazy couple, but really only mentions HRC in passing. You would think that given all the dirt he had on her that he would have tossed some out back then to help him make his point. Instead it seems that all of this only came out when he started writing his vanity book.

I would love to believe everything this guy writes about Clinton, but given that he's a nut who thinks he's been getting regular interviews with Eleanor Roosevelt, and who has a guaranteed best selling story but only if it's true, and yet has to pay to publish his books and sell them out of his house, I just don't see this guy having any credibility at all.

I caught this on the Neal Boortz radio show (streaming online) while at work yesterday. I can't always listen if I get mucho phone calls in the office, so I'm glad I could yesterday. Neal had a 1/2 hr. interview with Zeifman!

"Zeifman says he was urged by top committee members to keep a diary of everything that was happening. He did so, and still has the diary if anyone wants to check the veracity of his story. Certainly, he could not have known in 1974 that diary entries about a young lawyer named Hillary Rodham would be of interest to anyone 34 years later."

The guy may be a nutjob, but if he's got a diary, I guess someone will have to authenticate it or rule it a fake.
