Personally I don't like big contributors because then the candidate owes them something.
Actually, many have questioned where his contributions are coming from, and by law he has to report his sources. Also, wealthy benefactors aren't of much help. They can give limitless money to PACs and other soft-money takers, but the hard-money that goes into the campaign funds is limited to $2,400 per person. So unless you're using "bundlers" like the Clintons, wealthy friends don't count for much.

And in case you're wondering, the latest breakouts are:

Obama:

Individual contributions - $233,823,614 100%
PAC contributions - $250 0%
Candidate self-financing - $0 0%
Federal Funds - $0 0%
Other - $921,217 0%

Clinton:

Individual contributions - $171,549,575 91%
PAC contributions - $1,216,842 1%
Candidate self-financing - $5,000,000 3%
Federal Funds - $0 0%
Other - $11,330,636 6%

McCain:

Individual contributions - $70,941,867 93%
PAC contributions - $724,103 1%
Candidate self-financing - $0 0%
Federal Funds - $0 0%
Other - $5,025,856 7%

Yeah, I was just looking at Open Secrets and saw they had Hillary at $15 million, but they didn't break out the sourcing. Thanks for the link.

It must be nice to have your very own math...completely independent of everyone else's regular math.

For example, in your pic, Hillary does have the most votes, but that's only if you count the votes in MI and FL, which won't get counted. And also assume she's going to get more votes throughout the rest of the primaries than Obama, which with no big states remaining is extremely unlikely.

Aren't you agreeing that she has her own math?

Well, she isn't adding up two plus two and getting six, she's just taking two plus two, then sliding in two of her own to get six.
