This stuff is just incredible. And what's even more incredible is the approval from the audience.
And people actually listen and believe this moron?

The "black community" (and by that I mean the race hustlers who make a living keeping racism alive) never was embarrassed by Wright, that I'm aware of. It is my impression that they've been trying to paint anyone who raises their eyebrows at him as a racist. Obamacrats have tried to sweep this away and get it out of the news because they're smart enough to know this crap doesn't play well with non-liberal whites, who make up a good portion of the voting public.

But if a guy like Wright embarrassed them, they'd have tossed Sharpton, Jackson and Farrakhan a long time ago. They'd have snubbed Harry Belafonte and Samuel L. Jackson for the celebretards they are. The reason they don't do that, and aren't embarrassed by Wright, is because they make money off this crap. It's what they DO and what they've been trying to feed us for 30 years.

I think it's important to keep this story alive and Wright is just the gift that keeps on giving. Hillary Clinton must be laughing her ass off.
Lets not forget the slap down Bill Cosby got for speaking the unsavory truth.

Republicans should have shut down the attacks after Obama made his race speech in Philadelphia. At that point the Republicans had gotten it on record that Obama was associated with a guy with racist views, and were ready to bring this matter up again at the right time during the general election. Wright had now embarassed Obama, black churches, and many African-Americans. But no... we just don't know when to stop. We gotta keep pushing and pushing and pushing.

So what happens? Well, at some point, we should have known that the African-American community was going to stop being embarassed by Wright and start seeing him as being unfairly attacked. They would see their chcurch systems being attacked. They would see Republicans as anti-black to an even greater extent. And so now we have the NAACP inviting Wright to give keynote speeches at their events.

We have once again taken a guy with serious issues and turned him into a folk hero because we just don't know when to make a case and when to shut up.
This is just as crazy a notion as I've ever heard!

"They" have never been embarrassed by Rev. Wright- and "they" are happy as pigs in mud to be able to allow him to now parade himself around and spew even more of his vitriolic hate & vile discontent as if he was WRONG'D. (emphasis on the D)

I've heard no less than 4 African Americans speak since last night about this latest speech of Rev. Wright & all of them agree that it's just crazy what he's doing. They don't agree with it & they all say they've never seen this type of crap in their churches.

He looked like he was a raving lunatic while giving this speech. At times his eyes would bulge out & get very wild looking as they widened. He was really crazy looking when he talked about Obama making it possible for a black woman spend the night in the White House. Legally. Of course the audience just ate that up as if it were just the funniest thing. Good grief, if I were Michelle Obama, I'd be insulted at being included in that type of exclamation.

What a piece of work this guy is. AND I'm totally convinced he is loving every minute of stirring up the pot, too.

We started by highlighting a couple of rants by Wright, then we tried to paint him as a lifelong racist. Then we started painting black churches as all being racist meeting places and attacking black preachers as all being like Wright. This was going to be a loser issue from the get-go as whites #####ing about a black guy calling them names was never going to fly with blacks who have been enduring that abuse from whites for decades. And as usual, we allowed the use of sterotypes to lose sight of what the original issue was, and now we have the NAACP and other mainstream blacks rushing to support Wright rather than distancing themselves from him.
...but if we simply changed the word 'black' for 'white' this issue blows up against a white Obama and wipes him out. This is the dicey reality of race as IED in American politics; you're never really sure when it will go off, but you're pretty sure who it is intended for.

It is obvious that many blacks feel there is some truth to the whole 'the man' thing and that's not unreasonable in a nation that not only was founded on white superiority, but just loves the issue to this day. It sells.

People like Wright mean what they say, are passionate about it and have an audience that likes the whole oppression business, never mind the pews are full of MBA's, CEO's, lawyers, doctors, political leaders and Harvard graduates enjoying preachers who live in multi million dollar homes and so forth. This is a cause, just like the environment, gay rights, abortion or any other big name issue in American politics. Causes need tending or they die off. They don't need to be right or just or past expiration date. They simply need support and they live.

The problem is that Wright is no longer on the periphery. We're seeing that Obama could NOT distance himself and denounce Wright because of this seriousness of cause; it would be like Pelosi denouncing San Francisco or W denouncing the religious right. You can take exception here and there, but you can not bite the hand that feeds.

The fact is that blacks are not racists in the sense of historical white racism which was white superiority. They are not black supremacists. They are, however, racial in the sense of feeling owed and are happy to use race to achieve goals. Wright is not about to let the moment pass in such way that all he's worked for is suddenly invalidated at the grand moment because it might be making the champions tie feel a little tight. That's why he said he's going to come 'get' Obama if he wins. He's going to come and remind him of all the injustice's, real or perceived, and all the conversations about remedy and how to fix things.

Moments come and go. This may be the last opportunity for a black liberal to get this far. Blacks are falling behind Hispanics and Hispanics don't give a crap about slavery. This is an epic moment in politics because of that; the immovable force of the BIG opportunity of a liberal black going all the way meets the immovable object of the Clinton's determination to reach their goals back-dropped against fleeting opportunity.

Dean and company know damn well Obama's candidacy may well implode at this rate yet they can not dare pat Obama on the butt, tell him nice game and send him to the bench. And Hillary and Bill's power comes from one and only one thing; winning. She loses and it's likely over for her to ever reach the White House. Dean has to deal with that, Obama's tenuous position and the simple fact that Hillary, with all of her negatives, is nowhere near as big a gamble as Obama is; he's on the verge of being a lame duck who MUST win the nomination yet can NOT win the race.

The expiration label on reparation politics is growing near precisely because of the ascension of Obama. If he loses, the post mortem will be he was too liberal, not too black. Most on the right already believe race and gender are dead as causes. We'd all vote Condi tomorrow. Obama's liberal/left heritage is coming home to roost.

Damn fine political age we live in. Only in America!

No, this does not paint Republicans as anti-black and anti-black churches.

Michael Steele is on FNC right this minute talking to Megan Kelly saying that the fact that Obama didn't denounce this business -IS a problem for Obama.

IS A problem. And HE even said that it's not just Republicans against this type of crap - it's also a lot of Democrats.

Last I saw, Michael Steele was black.
