If the ice cream lobby paid them to promote ice cream for breakfast, the very last thing that person would want is for it to work. Because then everyone's having ice cream for breakfast and their job is finito. That's what happens when you have one thing you do, and one thing only.

The ice cream lobbyist is going to go promote something else. What are Wright, Sharpton and Jackson going to do? What will the NAACP do? They don't have anything else that will keep them in the style to which they've become accustomed.

The one thing they have going for them is victimology. As long as there is one white racist in this country and one poor black person, they will have an audience who believes what they say. As long as one black person gets crappy service at the Denny's, the race baiters will have a job.

How else to explain this guy?

Does he want Obama to lose?
I swear it's like he can't wait to flaunt himself in the faces of the American people - "yeah, I said it and this is how it is - we're in your face & you can't do anything about it". He's trying to say this is about the freedom of speech & an attack on black churches. And then he & all his supporters will turn around and cry racism when someone calls them on their anti-American, anti-white vitriol. He's trying to change the subject and he knows it. Practically every word he spoke yesterday & today looked like he was dripping with condescension & sarcasm.

He's also hired body guards - from the Nation of Islam. Now, isn't that special?

I caught that message(highlighted in color) from him as well.

There was an interesting discussion on Fox's Brit Hume hour tonight: most of the panalists thought that Rev. Wright is caught up in a bit of meglomania, that is he doesn't give a crap about what anybody else feels. Only HIS opinion matters.

I'll bet Barack is really sorry he didn't denounce Wright and disassociate with him right from the get-go. The more this guy seeks the limelight to run his mouth, the less likely it is that Obama will get the nomination.

Which is a shame, because Hillary Clinton is such a ##### it irritates me to think of her getting some glory. But the good news (depending on how you look at it) is that McCain will trounce her - not so sure he'd be able to beat Obama.

More on the issue that Rev. Wright's accusation - that an attack on his revelations, concerning the actions of this current adminstration's policies, or the policies of this country - is an attack on the black churches of this country - is entirely bullsh!t:

Check out one extraordinary(IMO) Bishop T. D. Jakes.

I have DirecTV, so he is on, sometimes between channels 376 and 402, depending on the programming options everyday, delivering his message of Faith in the Lord God.

He is inspirational, not damning!

Never have I seen this man of God - EVER - approach the kind of language, hatred, or evilness that has come out of the mouth of this so-called Reverend Wright.

Very well written and thought out post Vria!! I watched his NCAAP speach live lastnight for humor, however, it quickly turned to disgust I don't understand how he can endorse Obama for the democrats and yet mock and immitate JFK like he did - is that what any spiritual mentor does to a democrat running for office? Immitate JFK to the extent he did? Here... watch... this... its after the first 20 second blurb This is worse than having Michael Moore endorse him YouTube - Barack Obama - Pastor Jeremiah Wright - NAACP

I saw portions of the NAACP dinner event last night as well, or whatever they called it, and was astounded that so many - applauded what this guy had to say. There were purported to be somewheres between 12,000 to 14,000 people attending this event, and it seemed that most of them avidly agreed with his accounts!

Gosh, isn't that the truth, as sorry as it is to hear it.

Me too! I find it frieghtening that soo many people are applauding him, they are soo angry about skin color issues, they are throwing all rationale out the window, such as a minister swearing and using the GD word in the pulpit for starters. If he's a minister for Jesus as he says he is, then he would know we are all God's children, not hate for white people that he spews out. Jesus was not about hate he was about love for one another. All I hear from him is hate and anger, and then throw a few bible statements in to stir up the chrismatic folks, then back to hate and anger. It's revolting how he's playing his followers like a well tuned fiddle.

And, that, to me - is the crux of it. He is, in fact, "playing his followers like a well tuned fiddle".

Question is: Will they wake up to the fact - what a false tune he is playing to them?
