See... that's the funny thing. Obama is 1/2 white... but he isn't the one who made the comments. Wright, a 100% black guy, said them. This whole issue really has nothing to do with Obama.

Obama self-identifies as a black man - he said so himself. He goes to a black church, married a black woman, is very involved in African-American causes, etc. You rarely hear him talk about his caucasian side.

If I were his campaign manager, I'd dig out his white grandmother and his Indonesian sister and they would be glued to his side through the duration of his campaign. I'd staple a photo of his white mother to his shirt front and he would pay homage to her in every speech. That would pretty much shut his detractors up.
