Does Wright work for the Clinton's?

Wright to Obama: 'Coming after you' - Mike Allen - Politico.com

Quote:
“I said to Barack Obama last year, ‘If you get elected, November the 5th I'm coming after you, because you'll be representing a government whose policies grind under people,’ Wright said.
How else to explain this guy?

Does he want Obama to lose?

I just posted that very same thing on MSNBC's First Read. I think they're in bed together.

It's not even so much that statement as that he knows he's hurting Obama in the polls and HE STILL WON'T SHUT UP!

Maybe when he said he'd take a VP position, he was talking about being Hillary's VP?

O'Reilly was going on and on about this on his radio show (always wanting to give Obama and Wright the "benefit of the doubt" mind you). So I wroute O'Reilly (probably wont get read) but I was speculating more along these lines:

Wright's entire message revolves around the plight of the black man due to white oppression. If Obama were to win the WH this would virtually destroy this message and potentially put Wright out of business. I mean for a black man to hold the highest office in the land would mean the oppression is over. Wright can't have this. How will he pay for his $10,000,000 home in a predominately white neighborhood? An Obama loss would give Wright the leverage to say "see, I told you so".

This is hardly 15 minutes of fame. This guy has been making millions with this message.

See here.

...the argument, but that is a bit too Machiavellian for my tastes. Love that word.

It is my opinion that anyone who tirelessly argued for ice cream for breakfast would be more than happy to enjoy ice cream for breakfast were there to suddenly be ice cream for breakfast rather than find a last minute way for their to be no ice cream for breakfast for the sole purpose of retaining the ability to still argue for ice cream for breakfast.

Wright is, to me, arguing to make sure everyone understands he meant ice cream, not a snow cone or frozen yogurt.

Besides, once you get ice cream for breakfast, there's nothing to keep you from arguing for cookies to crumble up in it.

No way I can see Wright and company NOT wanting this. They just want it RIGHT with no apologies and no doubts as to what they mean.

Look at us, we don't want to win the White house; we want a real conservative to win the White house. And cut taxes. And limit government. And free people.

But that’s not what Wright is really saying. He’s saying that no black man can be part of a government… (which he already does anyway)

The problem I have with this is, doesn’t having a black man in the WH give them a chance to fix the “government whose policies grind under people”? In other words, why wouldn’t Wright want a black man in there? Because that would end his (Wright’s) career. Wright isn’t screaming for ice cream. He isn’t interested in ice cream. He already has his ice cream and he’s eating it too. If Barack isn't the right man - I mean after 20 years of loyalty and friendship - then who is; in Wright's mind?

He want Barack to lose. He wants to keep the “oppression” message alive. It may just buy him another mansion and a few cars too.
