Do you really think that she'd stoop this low?

Whole thing seems like a set up. BO didn't distance himself enough when this story first broke, politically speaking, so Wright was obliging enough to give BO a second chance to disavow him. Now BO can say that he has stated, unequivocally, that he is not in Wright's camp. Neither Hillary or the Rs can bring it up again without sounding like they are beating a dead horse.

This makes no sense. Everytime Wright opens his race baiter he stabs a knife in the hope of Obama being elected. You think he is doing it so Obama can more stenuously distance himself from a man he listened to for 20 years, performed his wedding, baptised his kids and was his self admitted spiritual advisor?

This is no set up this is Wright finally blowing a gasket. You know that Obama and his people told Wright to STFU and not say crap until the mess bloew over. Wright was no doubt seething and chomping at the bit to step up to the pew and blast back to the evil white folks. I think he slipped the leash and now Obama has to use valuable stump time to go back and disavow a man he claimed just weeks ago he could no more disavow than his white grandmother. I wonder if she is next?

Note that Obama only saw this as "shocking" when it threatened to hurt his own political fortunes; when he thought he could ride his way through it, he defended him and engaged in apologism for his vile racism and crank conspiracy theories and vicious anti-American hatred. Only when, as Obama says, Wright shows Obama disrespect by talking publicly does Obama suddenly realize this is all just so awful.
