I have? When? The only commentary I have made was what Limbaugh was saying about his operation chaos, which I thought was great for Obama.

Speaking of McCain, what makes you think that our gun rights are going to be one bit safer with him than with Obama? I guarantee you that Chuckie Schumer has a laundry list of gun laws just waiting to hit the books after November of this year. It seems like ever since he got the nomination, everyone suddenly has forgotten what a RINO McCain is! They all seem to buy into McCain's primary conversion to conservatism and want to fool themselves into thinking he really has changed. He hasn't! A RINO is going to make concessions with clowns like Schumer, and that's another guarantee.

For me there is are two fundamental questions for this election as I see no difference between McCain and Obama. Those questions are A: who will be the easist to unseat in 2012, and B: which party will suffer the most problems when that happens? I for one do not want to see the Republican party rip itself to pieces to get rid of a horrible POS President McCain in 2012 when we can enjoy watching the Democrats rip themselves up defending a POS President Obama.

I know that McCain isn't a great protector of gun rights, but he is a damn sight better than BHO. When you're stuck with 3 choices IMHO you choose the better of what you have to select from. Obama is the worst to me.

Again... you're looking at this on an individual level, and that is a big mistake as POTUS must work with the Congess to get laws passed. Obama is a big gun control guy, and he's going to support laws that will never make it through the Congress. McCain being a RINO will support more moderate laws that will pass the Congress. I guarantee you that we'll see more gun control laws passed under a President McCain than a President Obama.

...not only are Obama's laws not gonna make it through congress, but he's not even going to make it to the WH.

Kind of risky don't you think?

Or are you that confident in our congress??

Risky? Yes... but then again it was Reagan who signed in the FOPA.

Well, I can't be confident of McCain or Obama, so what can I be confident in? The only ray of hope I see is that there are now a lot of Democrats in Congress who owe their seats to very pro-gun districts, and they aren't likely to jeopardize their seats to support a Chuckie Schumer gun ban. Those folks, and the Republicans, should be able to easily kill off any extreme gun control measures.

Now think about this: what happens when Chuckie Schumer shags over to the White House and cuts some deal with McCain on a more limited gun grab? How is it going to look for Republicans if our members of Congress are constantly opposing their own President? And McCain has a rock-solid history of having issues with authority, and always goes the other way when there's a big push on to get Republicans to all go in one direction. The minute that the Republicans, NRA, gun owners, etc., all start calling on McCain to do one thing, you can bet your guns he'll do something else just to prove that he's his "own man".

Instead of wasting time thinking about Hillary, Obama should be busy getting measured for his Oval Office chair.
