I did a search for concealed weapons and this came up.

Can anyone on here pass along some information on concealed weapons permits? How do you go about obtaining one? Are they hard to obtain? Do they charge a fee to get one? How long does it take to get it? Where do you apply?

First... move to Florida. It's $45 and you get it in two weeks. If you live in MD, forget about getting one. You have to show a demonstratable threat your life, and that's a pretty high bar. The corrections officers at the Sheriff's Office didn't qualify despite having their lives threatened 20 times a day.

If you want a CCP, you're in the wrong state.
