I just though this part was profound given that we have a women running for President and this book was published over 50 years ago.

It seems that the talk about politics has not changed much.

I think it's changed a lot, and a woman could easily become President. Hillary Clinton's problem is she tried to run as a woman instead of as a President. Maybe she should have consulted with Margaret Thatcher.

I can't imagine Thatcher ##### slapping Hillary... more likely she would just punch her in the face, remove a womanly hankie from her stylish purse to wipe all the makeup and loads of wrinkle-hiding foundation off her knuckles, adjust her hair, and be on her way.

You know, generally in a cat fight, someone gets their clothes ripped off and I just don't think I want to see either of those ladies stripped at the waist, skirts jacked up, clumps of Aquanet sticky hair clumps in their paws..

Well, Maggie Thatcher doesn't strike me as a cat fighter. When she had her outs with Argentina, she didn't send messages using threats or sanctions, she sent lots of Sea Harriers and the Royal Marines to deliver the message.
