Barry Obama = Mike Dukakis

Could Obama be another Dukakis?

It isn’t just die-hard Clinton supporters who are pointing out the similarities. Even some Obama backers who believe that the nomination fight is over see the possible parallels...

Thais is a non-issue.
The Dems Super Delegates will hand the nomination to the carpet bagger.

I concur that is the likely outcome.

And then she's going to make Obama pay off her campaign debts with the money he has leftover!

I saw her on Fox last night and was going to post this.

The problem with that comparison is that Dukakis and his icky wife are weird, and neither was particularly likeable. Barack is likeable. He seems like a real guy, so they're going to have a hard time painting him as a freak job. Plus, Barack has no raging mistakes that he can't get past like the Willie Horton problem, the wife's alcoholism and his strange answer to the death penalty question.

He just needs to avoid any joy rides in tanks.

...an awkward bowler, but he looks good on the court. He can play some b ball. So, he's good with me from the physical geek point of view. He'd look good in a tank whereas Dukakis was a bobble head, tank or no tank.
