Why would it be bad news? She only got a net gain of 12 delegates (he still got eight), and this is the last state she's apt to see any major lead in. KY might go 60/40 but the rest are going to be near ties or losses for her.

I doubt he's losing any sleep over WV.

I doubt he's losing sleep either. But, the reason it should be bad news is he lost, and lost big. He got significantly less than 1/3 of the vote. He does not, and will not by convention, have enough delegates to not care about the superdyduper delegates. He has to win the D(N-2)C instead of the people just to get the nomination, then he has to win over the 48% of America that won't vote for him ideologically (Republicans), and the 48% of the rest of America that don't like him enough to make him THEIR nominee for president. He's got roughly 70% of the nation to overcome.

Obama: 91,652/26%

Huckabee: 567/52% Winner
Romney: 521/47%
McCain: 12/1%
Paul: 0/0%

I keep hearing about how Obama should be worrying about the WVa numbers (which is a joke) but I think McCain should be the one doing the worrying after that primary.
Look at it this way: McCain lost by 555 votes. Obama lost by 147,410 votes. Who's in trouble?

If you can pull up meaningless numbers and assign value to them, so can I.

You're a little late to the party MMDad. Those numbers are bogus. Read SamSpade's comments.

That's what I get for trusting your numbers. I'll consider the source next time.

At least one of us is man enough to admit when he's wrong.

Since you believed your numbers were the kiss of death for McCain, you are obviously looking at the real numbers as an overwhelming show of force for McCain, right?

Absolutely! Although I do wonder why there is such a difference between the caucus numbers, the first numbers I posted, and the results of the convention/primary. McCain finished dead last in one and way in front on the other.

Clearly, McCain is the strong favorite of the Republican party

However, it's also pretty clear Barry is in far more trouble.
