Democrats and Sex???

As I listen to the news reports pouring out about the new media darling, Arnold Schwarzenegger, I can't help but notice all of the threats of negative campaigning that's coming from the Democrats concerning Arnold's alledged infidelities with women. Wasn't it the Democrats who loudly insisted that whatever happens between two consenting adults is not the business of the voters or anyone else for that matter? Wasn't it the Democrats who insisted that sexual conduct, or misconduct, had no bearing on a person's ability to lead?

Today's news deals with California Democratic Party Spokesman Bob Mulholland's comments about "bullets" being fired at Arnold, but what I found very interesting in an article about the comments on the Drudge Report today was this: "The stunning threat from Mulholland, who rose to fame in 1992 after exposing how Republican Senate candidate Bruce Herschensohn visted a strip joint in Hollywood, comes as the historic recall election moves in to high gear -- and Schwarzenegger takes the lead in the polls. " Visiting a strip joint is grounds for not voting for someone but turning the White House into a strip joint isn't?

It looks like sex is only unimportant when it comes to Democratic forays. Chalk up another reason to not believe anything a Democrat professes to believe in.

You expressed confusion but that statement tells me you understand it perfectly. But don't worry - one of the libs will come on here and tell us how Arnie's situation is "different" than Clinton's.

Know what you mean. I don't know any of the details, just stuff I've heard and snippets from the TV here and there. I'm SURE we'll hear it ALL now.

Is what we are talking about, happened a few years ago, something about him having his face buried between some chicks legs in a trailer on a movie lot. I heard about that on Stern like 2 years ago..

You have to remember Arnie is a European by birth. That sort of thing is normal behavior there.

He has to realize that his opponents will try to dig up all the dirt that exists and make even more up on him. He isn't worried so it must not be too bad.

Cari, you must get better grocery lines than I do - I can usually get through the Enquirer AND the Weekly World News. Rumor has it that Arnie is not only a philanderer but a serial sexual harrasser as well.

But it won't matter. Most of the idiot voters will choose based on name recognition so Arnie's a shoo-in.

Or the women are just REALLY hot, and if people start to bring the issue up, he'll just hold up the photos of the women, the men will simple stare in awe and applaud, and nothing will ever become of it.

"Elsewhere, opponents of Schwarzenegger have launched a scorched search for at least one video which purports to show the star openly fondling a reporter's breast while he was on a promotional tour in England or the movie 6TH DAY.

TV reporter Anna Richardson branded Arnold as "totally unprofessional" after he pawed her breast and patted her bottom during an interview. Millions watched as he repeatedly squeezed her on live morning TV, according to press reports.

In a 2002 interview with the WEEKLY STANDARD, Schwarzenegger said it was all lies. "No one that has been around me would believe that a woman would be complaining about me holding her," he cracked."

Got the female vote locked up too, looks like...
