OK. So, in your book we should have gone to war with the USSR when Powers was shot down, right?

And why would we trade 1,000's of US dead and some 25,000 more wounded for a threat on our one president when a single bomb could have fixed that problem?

...it started happening about the time I realized, finally, that ol' W had no intention of doing what I thought he was going to do; kill our enemies and transform the region. You know that. I've been pizzing and moaning about the 4th infantry division, not putting all their soldiers to work, alienating the Ba'aths and not putting a bullet in Sadr's big, fat mouth for years.

You know I always held out hope that he'd have OBL's head on a pike any day.

You also know I've been saying mission accomplished; Regime changed, weapons secured, democracy instilled, for years. Time to go.

Bush is a globalist. He is not an America first president. That has been a hard pill to swallow and I don't have any more excuses to make for the guy because he is not doing what I thought he was. He never was.

So what should the public do? Elect someone who wants to abandon the area and who's idea of global leadership is to cede our position as world leader to Iran? I don't think Obama is smart enough to deal with thugs. He's been a tool of the Chicago machine and still will be 20 years from now.

Convince me any of the candidates would be a good President.

Convince me of who would be the least destructive of our rights under the Constitution and has a chance of winning; then I might vote for that person.

Ummmm. No. Not at all. At best an excuse given during the Gulf War in retaliation for Kuwait's slant drilling.
