Sounds like Bruzilla and Larry have moved in together.

Having said that : Where the hell was Joe Bidens indignation when Carter keeps going to foreign countries and mouthing off? Where is his indignation when Bill Clinton runs off at the mouth. Where was his indignation when Nancy pelosi went off to act as Secretary of State. Why should President Bush hold his views when two ex-Democrat Presidents have long ago broken all the rules of being an ex-President. Biden doesnt seem to mind them giving their views. I think Biden should stop acting like a hypocrit and STFU.

As for Mccain I might not like him,but you can bet your azz I dont dislike him enough to see this socialist, wimp ,empty suit sit in the White House.

If I had my Druthers we would start all over again with an entirely new set of players, but unfortunately we have to go with what we have. Yes: They both suck.
Neither of them should get any closer to the White House than the gate on Pa. Ave.,but one of these guys is going to be President. I want the one with balls.

Can we put this thing in perspective? This is a frickin' tempest in a teapot. He's talking to the Knesset in a nation that knows full well you don't negotiate from a position of weakness and you're a fool if you think "if I just TALK to them, this would all go away" and as an example, he references a REPUBLICAN SENATOR from the 1930's who naively said that the Polish invasion might have been averted if people had just TALKED to Hitler.

Bush's point was one that can hardly be disagreed with - you don't talk it out with these guys. You kick their ass up and down the block and wait for them to come talk to YOU. You "talk" when *you're* the one holding the gun.

There's a whole gamut of folks who want to "talk" to Chavez - to Ahmedinijad - to Jong Il - but they're whistling in the dark. You do NOT go to the table with "pretty please". If you do, you get the kind of deal Carter made with Jong Il. Please, please don't develop nukes and we'll give you some nice consolation prizes. Call me crazy, but that's Nazi appeasement. What did we get? Nukes. And a less empty wallet. Oh and a Nobel Prize for Jimmy.

Maybe Obama thinks every word Bush says is about him, but he's full of himself. Bush isn't running for President, and there's a serious lack of motive for taking shots at him in Israel.

I suppose, you could have sit down with Jeff, and ask him not to kill people then eat them afterwards. Doubt he would take your advise though.

Jeff was hungry ... and mad ... just like Ahmadinejad
That's a very flawed point of view. Just because the US doesn't view these thugs as legitimate doesn't mean the World doesn't see them that way. Take Castro for example. We have ignored him for close to 50 years, but the rest of the World hasn't. How about Arafat? We tried to ignore him for decades, but the rest of the World didn't. How about Ahmadinejad in Iran? We can ignore him but that doesn't mean the rest of the World does. It seems to me that we're looking more and more like some stupid kid who's standing there holding his breath and stomping his feet until some other kid does what he wants, and the other kid has lots of buddies who just watch us and laugh.

Answer me this if you can: How did we get from talking about meeting with, or having negotiations with our enemies, without preconditions, to appeasement and concessions? I've heard most all of Obama's speeches, and I have yet to ever hear him say "there will be peace!" or "I am willing to trade Israel for peace!" or "I will make whatever concessions the Iranians want to get peace!" He has never said, implied, suggested, or in any way conveyed such statements, so how have they now become the the cause de'juor for the Obama haters?

I could see this whole thing being an issue if Obama had said that having talks with Iran would guarantee a peace, but he hasn't ever said that either. All he has said is that he would be willing to meet without preconditions... so where is all this talk of giving away the farm to the Iranians coming from?
