And that bugs me to no end! This is the exact same crap Republicans used to rail against when Democrats made those unfounded allegations against Reagan, Bush, Cheney, Rice, and everyone else, and now here they are doing the exact same thing!

He has never said, implied, suggested, or in any way conveyed such statements, so how have they now become the the cause de'juor for the Obama haters?

I could see this whole thing being an issue if Obama had said that having talks with Iran would guarantee a peace, but he hasn't ever said that either. All he has said is that he would be willing to meet without preconditions... so where is all this talk of giving away the farm to the Iranians coming from?

And on top of that he is the ONLY one who has said he would go after OBL regardless of what Pakistan thinks about it.

The world? The WHOLE world?

Damn. With that much opposition, we should just roll over. Thugs with the whole world as their friend - I don't know how we dare go against that.

Obama made it about him, and made that leap. Bush talked about some people out there who would appease these despots and that they are under a foolish delusion. Obama took offense. Why would he do that?

I'm telling you, this man really needs a thicker skin if he wants to be President. I'm not sure I've ever seen a President get more insulted than our current one.

...is too cool and calculating to actually be thin skinned, in my view. I think they, his team, him, however they make these decisions, they decided that he should go pretend to be indignant about this.

I'm not so sure. While the press no longer gives him a pass, he certainly has his throngs of enthralled fans. Until this campaign, he was never pilloried and insulted frequently - he has represented people who share his views.

I'll be more sure during the general campaign.

Bruzilla said Obama was NOT being given a pass by the media, he was just squeaky clean and free of controversy and beyond examination.

Who else refused to do business with Castro or Arafat? Even the Israelis negotiated with the later.
