Then he should act like it.

Obama himself has been whining that the campaign should be about issues, not personal attacks. So what does he do every time he gets a chance? Chastises the Republicans for being mean to his wife and making hay out of comments that don't have anything to do with him.

...but that, if you'll notice, is the MESSAGE; The GOP is mean and nasty and is only interested in attacking people and does not care about solutions. His legions EXPECT him to complain and 'stand tough' against the Blue Meanies and kick that mean ol' Karl Rove in his Nazi testicles if he even has any.
