It's meant to tap into that reserve of folks who think high gas prices are caused by drivers of SUV's.

You know, those bitter people who during times of economic crisis, turn to Bibles, guns, and blame people who drive SUV's. And are fat. And *waste* energy by putting their thermostats at 72!

18 months of Obama and his...ideas...will, hopefully, send a flood of freshly minted conservatives pouring into DC in 2010. With a little luck, people like Boehner won't be around to poison them right away.
I have said before, his defense of Obama seems way to sincere to be tactical.

Either way, I do not trust the general public. The apathy and "incumbent edge" could create an 8 year trainwreck if the GOP keep parading fools up to challenge.

I am going to be 44 a week after the elections, I will be 52 when the potential train wreck ceases. I don't want to take the chance of stepping off into the late innings of my wage earner life in a huge hole.

Ron Paul is too Radical! His ideas will never fly. McCain, on the other hand will get things done! He's the more practical choice!

Now, he'll get things done - but they'll be bad things.

Jeez.

...never, ever find a word I wrote in support of McCain. I despise him. He is the most dangerous and evil politician in office today. He got a law passed increasing, dramatically, federal control over speech. That is THE evil. It is the FIRST amendment because speech is the MOST important thing we have; the right to scream out and call him a #### sucking piece of ####, media pandering bastard if I like. A man who is all to happy to write laws to shut us up and all too happy to kiss the feet of anyone and everyone, the media, other opponents of free speech, anyone necessary to get it done is DANGEROUS.

I'm still voting for Paul, BTW.

I'm of a similar mind. Seems to me like someone's saying, "here, take this big-azzed nail and shove it up your azz for the next eight years. Why? Oh because I have fairly reliable reason to suspect that if McCain gets elected, he might put a BIGGER one up there. And anyway, AFTER eight years, you in all likelihodd might actually get to take the nail out - probably"

I guess Obama's smarter than the doctors. This pisses me off, the fact that all these socialists look at big bulky SUVs as the problem and think that eating habits are out of control because of fat people.

What about those of us who don't fit that category? Why should I care in the first place?

Eff Obama.

Something else Larry and Bru are missing is the media aspect of it all. Remember how homeless people suddenly disappeared when Clinton was elected, only to resurface the day after George Bush took his Oath?

Obama and his Dem Congress can do pretty much whatever they like, and if Republicans oppose them, the media will start the smear campaign. Or they'll come up with some breaking news of vast importance that will take whatever the Dems are doing off the front page.

Notice we never heard a lot about Sandy Burglar and his little document faux pas? It was overshadowed by some insignificant deed a heinous Republican committed.

Remember how the Saddam Hussein trial was actually filmed, but you had to dig deep to find even a synopsis of the day's testimony in the MSM?

If Congress dares to oppose Obama in any fashion, the MSM can also fall back on their old standby, "racism".

...just too bad, ain't it? This is the whirlwind we reap for supporting George W. Bush while he spent the last seven years destroying our country.

The economy, energy, the wars, Social Security, medicaid, government expansion and intrusion. We trusted him. He ####ed all of us.

John McCain WILL keep up this insanity. Just listen to him. He says he will. Can you imagine McCain with his values and his view on issues having a Dem dominated congress all too happy to go along with his ideas? Obama may be stoppable. Name your poison.
