The Other KY Primary

Little noticed by the MSM, there was a Republican primary in KY on tuesday. McCain won, but only got 72% of the vote... not a good sign for a presumptive nominee. It looks like the core conservatives are still not up to supporting him.

Kentucky has over a million registered Republicans - and less than 20% of them turned out for a primary that serves no purpose.

One fourth of that fraction voted for someone other than McCain, including several thousand for Paul, who is actually still in the race, although he stands no chance of winning.

What does this mean? Who knows? Over 80% of the registered Republicans chose to stay home, and I can hardly blame them.
