The Democrats are turning out in large numbers because they still have a conest. If there was a primary here in Md. tomorrow, I wouldn't vote.

Apparently, Obama can say whatever he wants to, but if McCain responds it's an attack.

I think that there is a core group of voters who always turn out to vote in the primary, and that number doesn't vary more than +/-10% each year. The Dem numbers are up this year because of all the hoopla and I think there's a good chance these folks will vote in the General. I don't see any driving reasons for Republicans to turn out in the General.
