What scares me is Obama has a cult-like following, it is downright worshipful and articles like this in the San Fran paper illustrate how the lefties feel about him. It's really rather insane.

Is Obama an enlightened being?

Many spiritually advanced people I know (not coweringly religious, mind you, but deeply spiritual) identify Obama as a Lightworker, that rare kind of attuned being who has the ability to lead us not merely to new foreign policies or health care plans or whatnot, but who can actually help usher in a new way of being on the planet, of relating and connecting and engaging with this bizarre earthly experiment. These kinds of people actually help us evolve. They are philosophers and peacemakers of a very high order, and they speak not just to reason or emotion, but to the soul.

The unusual thing is, true Lightworkers almost never appear on such a brutal, spiritually demeaning stage as national politics. This is why Obama is so rare. And this why he is so often compared to Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr., to those leaders in our culture whose stirring vibrations still resonate throughout our short history. LINK

Oooohhh... Obama has not one but THREE ISLAMIC NAMES!!!

Obama voted "Present" at 100 votes (of course, the fact that he did vote yeh or nea in over 800 others doesn't seem to matter).

We once again have a man who "nobody knows" but who everyone seems to know is the most Liberal senator in the Senate, has a Muslim dad and white American mother, every school he went to, every job he ever had, every vote he's ever made... but nobody knows him.

He feels that patriotism is not shown by wearing a flagpin... big news to all those Democrats in Congress who wear flagpins while they bash our country.

Gee... we've got a guy running for president who wants to legalize abortion on demand, confiscate guns, open the borders and grant amnesty to illegals, and raise taxes... and what does this video focus on more than anything? He has three Muslim names - Barrack... Hussein... Obama. Ding, ding, ding, we have another real winner here!

Since it's more than 125, and barely 800, we're again looking at 15-20% of votes that don't matter, just like in the US Senate. What a leader

Abortion is, sadly, legal. The president has no control over that other than SCOTUS appointments.

Guns won't be confiscated, 2nd Amendment assures us of that.

Our borders are already far too open, with unofficial amnesty already granted through lack of enforcement. He'd, again, be no change. No other choice is significantly different.

Raising taxes is the one point I'll agree he'll have some minor effect - he'll sign the bad legislation the Democratically controlled Congress sends him instead of vetoing it. However, again, we can rest assured McCain will, too. No one running that has a chance of winning will significantly limit tax increases.

So, what's left that matters in a president? Foreign affairs, commander in chief role. Would Barry be good at either of these? Hell no. Would the Congress have much effect on him when he ####s up? The Second Amendment can be changed with the stroke of a pen. It can happen. Does anyone know what is happening in the Supreme Court with the DC gun law?

No so much with the stroke of a pen, you can't change the constitution that easily.

As for the law, yes - it's being (more than likely) overturned as unconstitutional. we'll know for sure when the decision comes out.
