Barrack Obama has as mentors and influences people who reflect his policy pronouncements.

It is likely that President Obama will have a profoundly socialistic and leftist administration in order to affect his policy pronouncements.

How about we focus on that and not look at a fist bump as some sort of sign of inner city gang support?

It seems reasonable to me that Obama will be our next president. As he will have accomplished that via the same process that gave us Reagan and Carter and everyone else, I'm good with that. I wasn't happy with Clinton, but, he did win. I can't expect my political opponents to ever accept the validity of my guys if I won't accept theirs. That doesn't mean they will, but I choose to not be as vitriolic as them which is why, as a conservative, I am usually happier than they are; I expect them to behave poorly or like kids.

Our system works. Messy as it is, it works.

It does not seem reasonable to me that Obama willl be President and I will do my best to see that he isnt. IF he is elected it will mean that he is what the most people wanted. I pray they come to their senses,but if they dont and he is elected he will be the President and hopefully the promises he is making to get there will be blocked by people who are more qualified to make those decisions than he appears to be at this time.

...I applaud you there. Take heart in that it won't be 'most' people. Only a little more than the 25% of eligible voters.
