Now, saying you wish someone would assasinate a candidate should he become president and saying you would do it yourself are two different things, but you never know with the way they handle things nowadays.

There have been lots of pictures posted of Obama at political and government events where he is facing the flag and covering his heart just like you're supposed to. The one picture in question was not taken at an official event, it was a BBQ given by Tom Harkin out in Iowa. Also, if you look at the picture, you will see Harkin, Clinton, Richardson, and Obama all with their backs to the flag... which is a no-no during the playing of the national anthem. You are always supposed to face the flag when you render honors, not have your back to it.

As for flagpins, he has said that he didn't wear one as he felt it conveyed a false sense of patriotism. I tend to agree with that as it makes me nauseous to see a bunch of America-hating Dems wearing flagpins in an attempt to show their love for America... yeah right.

And you know... it didn't use to be this way. It used to be that the hardcore Libs were the only ones who posted like this, especially after DU got wind of the forum a few years back and a lot of trolls came over. But now we have a lot of folks from the other side of the divide, who used to roundly denounce the tactics of the Libs, suddenly acting exactly the same way. And what;s worse is they don't even see it.
