Just pointing out that some comments are more ignorant than others.

If you don't like a candidate's voting record, or his/her stance on issues, fine. Don't vote for him/her then. That's our constitutional right.

But saying a candidate should be shot dead is wrong, and if worded a certain way, illegal. I don't like Bush but I would not wish grievous bodily harm on him or his family. And I for darn sure would not post such comments on a open forum.

I guess I wasn't around then because I would have been just as stunned if a hard core lib had said the same thing about a Republican.

Point taken. I seldom watch too busy "idoling" away the hours on repeats that I slept through. Although. On the last show, when David Cook performed with ZZ Top

...is fine for drunks on Saturday night. It should not be a life pursuit nor of interest to sober people.

I would say you could ask Vrai about it, but she has largely crossed over to the darkside. Larry might remember those days. I think there was an article in the paper or something, I can't remember, but the DU got wind of the forum and for months we had troll after troll coming over here posting the most hate-filled garbage about Bush, Republicans, etc. Vrai was still normal back then and would either give them the boot or give them the trashing they deserved, but now that the folks on the Right have someone to hate, it seems that many on the right side of things have become very comfortable with taking the low road.

Of course, what's the saddest of all is that these same people will still attack Democrats for doing the exact same thing that they are doing.

Why so much hatred towards Obama do you suppose? I was here for the Kerry bashing but I don't remember anyone ever mentioning assassination, I don't recall anyone saying the same thing about Hillary.
