I don't believe that there is any truth to this story, but it really should be looked into. If nothing else, to put the rumor to rest.
Barack Hussein OBAMA was born on 4 August 1961 at the Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein OBAMA, Sr. of Nyangoma-Kogelo, Siaya District, Kenya, and Ann DUNHAM of Wichita, Kansas. His parents met while both were attending the East-West Center of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where his father was enrolled as a foreign student. When Barack Obama was two years old, his parents divorced and his father moved to Connecticut to continue his education before returning to Kenya.

When Obama was six, his mother married Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian oil manager. In 1967, when Soetoro's student visa was revoked because of political unrest in Indonesia, Dunham and Barack, then in first grade, accompanied him to Jakarta, Indonesia. Obama's half-sister, Maya Soetoro was born after the family moved to Indonesia. Four years later she sent him back to the United States to live with his maternal grandmother.
Barack Obama graduated from Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he met his future wife, Michelle Robinson. They have two daughters, Malia and Sasha.

As I said before, just because you found it on a web page does not make it true. But this is a very easy rumor to clear up. Since we already know everything that should be on his birth certificate, releasing it should not be a problem, should it?

I agree with you, and it should be easy to clear up as you say. I was just providing a different site with more specific info. I also agree with you it's unlikely to be a problem.

Seriously, can we discuss something else about this campaign, like, um, ya know, issues.
People have suggested that McCain was not eligible for that fact. McCain was born to parents in the military on a military base. Which is considered US territory. No one is going to challenge that...

Barak apparently has withheld the document proving he was born a US citizen. I would think he should provide to set the record straight.

Oh, they already challenged that. In the 2000 election campaign cycle. It didn't fly.

I agree with you on this one, but... should a candidate have to release documentation to the public each and every single time WorldNetDaily reports something about them?

Don't you think it's probably all of this has been looked into by the FEC very closely and this is just another story where WorldNetDaily didn't do their homework?

If it was reported in WorldNetDailyNews, you can take it to the bank! Just like the following article published by WNDN...
