I just thought the story was funny, but you folks have opened my eyes to the other ideas out there.

There may have been a lot of excitement about the primary campaign, but it's looking more and more like the honeymoon is over and each group is getting ready to rip the others apart.

Protesters at the party conventions is nothing new, and this group sounds pretty "fringy". They'll probably be lined up next to the group protesting the spelling of "women"....who''ll be next to the group protesting chicken mcnuggets.

Really? I guess it's a good thing the Chicago cops reacted so harshly to those Republican protesters back in '68!

:dur: So all those leftists at the Democratic conventions in '04 and '00 were really Republicans in disguise?

It's a good thing I've got you here to straighten me out! Now I don't have to rely on those pesky things like "truth" or "facts."

Bru said it's true! That's good enough for me!

Did it say this group was strictly Democratic? With that BS Limbaugh was spewing about "Operation Chaos" (Operation Blowhard is more like it), I half expect Righties to pose as Lefties for some of these demonstrations. Maybe Larry will join them...isn't he all bent at McCain over taking away our first amendment rights?

Who cares? I hope they crap themselves.

The article was about the Recreate 68 protestors. A check of their website shows a very prominantly displayed raised fist symbol... not something you see a lot of Republican groups using. Also, their Who We Are statement says "Welcome to the "Re-create 68" website, your virtual activists' Convergence Center for the Denver Democratic National Convention of 2008. This website was created for all the grassroots people who are tired of being sold out by the Democratic Party." Not a lot of Republicans feel sold out by the Dems.
