| Condoleeza! I like her alot, she is a smart lady, but yeah that is hillariouse how humans make the same faces as chimps. I saw a show once where they compared the expressions chimps made with human expressions and they all matched. |

| For shame! Ok, it was in bad taste when they did it to Bush and this is in bad taste, too! However, it is out there. I heard someone (Michelle Malkin, I think?) say that a lot of the "rumor mongering" about Michelle Obama is coming from the Hillary camp. That doesn't surprise me any. These (type of) pictures that keep making the rounds probably are, too.

| You know, at some point this election is going to be over, and all the Obama hysteria is going to pass. Do you really want to be known as one of the folks who thought something like this was funny? I mean, if it pisses you off when someone does this to Bush, Cheney, Rice, etc., why doesn't it piss you off when they do it to Obama? I guess at the end of the day it's the target of the bad behavior, and not the bad behavior, that you object to. I'm glad when the election is over, and the hysteria passes, and all you folks who are lowering your standards because of your dislike of Obama come back to your senses and try to redeem yourselves, that I'll be there to say "hey... remember back in 2008 when you thought comparing Michelle Obama to a chimo was just a hoot?" |

Remember back in the VP debates of Gore versus Quayle, and Gore made the comment about the press being hyper-critical of him - and Quayle said something like "hey, anyone seen MY PRESS FOR THE LAST FOUR YEARS?". Similarly, when Clinton took office, they were aghast at the beating they got in the press and from the right - somehow suggesting that the previous twelve years of insults to Reagan and Bush never happened. In grade school we called this "you can dish it out, but you can't take it". IN reality, it's just tunnel vision or amnesia. From their perspective, they're not insulting anyone. When I see this, I don't raise my eyebrows. I shrug. All's fair and all that. Last edited by SamSpade : 06-12-2008 at 08:43 AM. | |
