The American people seem to have a very short memory. Heck, some of the posters here weren't even out of elementary school at the time.

Well, folks want change. They don't want to do the hard things that need doing. Reminds me of this quote:

This cycle of Americans wouldn't hack it in years past. They want government handouts on the backs of those who already pay the vast percentage of taxes. They want a hand out not a hand up. Government is the answer for everything, even though government produces absolutely nothing on its own.
