I don't really see why this is arrogant. I mean he is running for office.

I dunno it's not the presidential seal, but it's close.

like he's saying 'I'm not the president, but I want to be'. It's completely not subtle, so it's not like he's trying to get away with anything.

no one will mistake him for president by accident (well unless he gets elected in which case he would be) using that logo.

I mean what would be more suitable (serious question)?

I'm sure someone will chime in with some wiseass remark, but really, it's just a little logo someone on his staff thought up and he liked it enough to give it the go ahead.

Maybe for a speech backdrop he can get a huge poster of Mt. Rushmore with his face photoshopped on it.

This seal is meant to work on people psychologically, giving them the subliminal impression that Barack is Presidential material, or perhaps, in a psychological sense, already the President.

No corporation would tolerate this blatant ripoff of their logo. He is attempting to assume the power conveyed by the real Presidential seal.

I think this one is much better suited to his campaign.

noooooo!

almost like he going after something!

edit: which pres used 'little pink houses' as a campaign song?

'ain't that america for you and me'

'ain't that america home of the free'

why it's almost as if candidates play to our sensibilities in order to garner votes!

it's unethical!

As Sonsie stated in the other post, it may not even be legal.

When the NYT has to acknowledge use of that seal is arrogant, I would think it's far beyond a campaign pin.
