Don't look at me, dude - I have no real problem with extinction of the stupid. You'll notice I'm not a fan of seatbelt laws, helmet laws and other legislation that prevents culling of the herd. And you'll also never see me worry one second about the health and well-being of a complete stranger, whether they are smoking or eating a Big Mac.

The only thing I don't like is when I have to pay for it. I'm a libertarian at heart, but only if the freedom of others doesn't affect me and my wallet.

Well, I'm also a libertarian, I agree with every word you just said, and I also don't have a problem with self-annihilation. I have long said that we should remove the safety labels from everything, and the stupidity problem will solve itself.

On the other hand, I do have a problem with murder. And from my perspective, killing someone in cold blood is murder, whether they're surrounded by a placenta or not. I fail to see why there should a distinction between a fetus and other human beings, and as such they should enjoy the same protections as the rest of us.

First of all I am pro choice but not pro abortion. Now onto my point...

I think there is way too much of a slippery slope when you give a fetus the same legal rights as it's mother. I know it is a small % of cases but when a mothers health/life are in jeopardy it is not fair to make her prove that to the courts.

No.

I've said this before:

If a woman would consider having her baby scraped out of the womb and disposed of like rubbish, she probably shouldn't be raising children. That's a bad mindset for a mother to have.

Chew on it...

And you're right - abortion is indeed murder, no matter how much the libs like to pretty it up and use words like "choice". So the debate should be whether we, as a society, condone murder of the inconvenient or not. So far I do, because of my statement above. I'm not really interested in having more nutjobs in our society, and the chances that some abortion woman would raise a healthy and productive member of society are extremely slender.

Now all you babes who've had abortions, then went on and actually gave birth, can have a fit. That's your problem.

I believe that's where this discussion is heading.

What does that mean? "I am against murder, but I support your choice as to whether *you* murder or not."

What does that mean?
