If I could point to the GOP and say "Here are the clear reasons why I think the GOP is better", then, yeah, I can make the argument, I can support the argument. But, the last 7 years, 6 of them with a GOP congressional majority, I can't make the case.

I think a socialist like Obama WILL be bad. I think W has been horrific for the country, long term, and has damn near killed off conservatism.

I just can't listen to people like W and Cheney prattle on anymore about this danger and that danger and then go off on missions that are fundamentally un-American and fundamentally not in our national interest. "But we haven't been attacked!" Yeah. Paranoid police states can be pretty safe. How about we kill our freaking enemies and let them fear us? How about we tend to American business? How about we let regional problems around the world be regional problems?
