Obama Claims Credit For Stimulus Bill

Ballsy to throw something out there that can be so easily checked.

He didn’t even show up to vote for it. Not the first time he’s exaggerated his responsibilities in Congress either, as Ace reminds us, and of course he’s not a stickler about carrying out the responsibilities he actually does have.

He sure can give a speech, though, can’t he?

Obama: Hey, remember when I came up with the plan for that stimulus bill? Democrats: Um, no

And as some folks do check on Obama's lies, it gave McCain the perfect ammunition to lay Obama out.

...communication is a craft and an art. To sit there and bust on Obama for cashing in with the Streisand gang is all well and good. To play the 'the they're not real like you people' angle is fine, too.

But John McCain is rich. He has a whole bunch of houses. He's not a hang out in Ohio kind of guy. Is he having everyone over for beer and barbeque?
