The only way she "loses" is if she really is as horrendous as everyone fears she could be.
True. This was the same tactic Obama was taking, and it worked for him. He got stomped, and looked a fool for the most part, but was lauded for holding his own. Therefore, the "draw" went to the underdog - Obama.

Unfortunately, we have very few talking heads who try and remain objective, so the obvious is left unsaid.

It worked for Obama, maybe it will work for Palin, and swing the tide yet again.

IMHO, the inmates of the SoMDformums echo chamber are not especially representative of the greater American public. When I said nobody, I didn't mean it literally; I really doubt that prior to her selection, many men on the street would have recognized the name Palin - unlike the Huckabee, Romney, or Guliani.

That said, EVERY time I see Pawlenty - governor of Minnesota - he impresses me.

I haven't seen any other candidates for McCain VP that do anything for me.

Let's hope when Palin tells him she got more votes when she ran for Mayor then he got on a national scale running for President, he doesn't blow another head gasket.

So you hope she will go with the "repeat previously debunked lies" strategy?

I'm not at all surprised by that.

If you're truly anxious to compare votes registered for either candidate, just remember that Biden's career totals exceed Palin's by just a few tens of millions or so.
