And Biden has this charming habit of just saying what he thinks. He's sort of folksy, which is why the Dems gasp when he speaks off the cuff.

Of course no matter what happens, the MSM will insist that Biden "won" and Palin was clueless, but it's still going to be an entertaining debate.

I agree! I saw the interview on CBS tonight. (I thought my remote finger would become paralyzed as I switched over!) I turned the channel just in time, to see it! And I thought she was great. I saw a clip last night from YouTube, but this interview was longer and I think she was just fine. Katie tried on most of the controversial questions to get a "gotcha" soundbite, and I don't think she got one. The one question which led to Sarah Palin talking about one of her best friends was the (2nd) best part, IMO.

Have you looked at her debates from Alaska's governor's race? Any of her speeches in the last couple of days? Katie's 2nd interview which aired tonight?

Really, take a look. They're letting her be Sarah, it looks like to me.

Come on - the lady can shoot & skin a moose! How hard can it be to debate Joe Biden?

Weird how obsessive the Obama cult is with her.

The only way she "loses" is if she really is as horrendous as everyone fears she could be.

The MSM is already setting up the premise so they can fly with that as their story on Friday. Because they know Palin will be great.

I actually think Mrs. did a very good job last night.

Biden kept wanting to bring up the past, the past the past. She kept talking about the future. The only time she seemed to reference the past, was when she would :slam: biden/obama on something.

Though, biden seemed to bring his A-game and :slam: Mccain at every chance he got. And he seemed to do it pretty well.

I didn't like how biden never looked into the camera, he always looked down, or at the that Gwen lady.

I liked how Palin focused on the camera.

I honestly don't care what people in bidens town think. He is their senator, obviously they like the twit. Go to Alaska, Im sure everyone their is pulling palin...

I didn't like how biden said if obama was elected, and died, that he wouldn't change a single thing obama wants to do... I don't care who you are, out of 1000 topics, I don't know if anyone will EVER find someone who they agree on all those topics with.

I like how palin said there was a topic her and mccain don't agree on, and named a thing or two....

I could go on and on... Overall, I think if the object was to just bash the other parties nominee, biden won this debate.

If the object was to instill knowledge about why your guy should be elected, and future issues. I'd give it to palin.

Did anyone else note that she didnt say "UH" one time.

She was coherent and didnt have to pause and say "uh" between every other word.

Biden went away loser last night because he had to lie about Mccain record to attempt to win.

One thing he can say about Sarah is that she was clean she was well versed and she kicked his ass.

I heard this DU talking point a week ago. Thus it was said, and thus it is being portrayed.

I posted last night about my thoughts of the debate. One thing I forgot was the statement O'Biden made regarding how McCain didn't see the subprime mortgage crisis coming and Obama did see it coming two years ago. I thought it a strange statement as it is a matter of record that McCain co-sponsored a bill addressing the issue. I did try to research the statement regarding Obama trying two years ago to fix the situation. This is all I came up with.

Warning, not for those with a weak stomach:

Obama Knew His Jewish Finance Chairman Was Subprime Loan Queen! - Assata Speaks - Hands Off Assata - Let's Get Free - Revolutionary - Pan-Africanism - Black On Purpose - Liberation - Forum

Clinton campaign manager was director for failed subprime lender: The Swamp

Marathon Pundit: Another subprime headache for Obama

Emil Amok » Subprime Pritzker pure gold for Obama

I found nothing on factcheck.org either way.

Has anyone else researched this statement?
