I can get past Rev. Wright, even though I think he's a race baiting America-hater. But for the President of the United States to count among his friends an admitted criminal who should be in prison right now - I have a problem with that.

And the Barack people can say all they want that Obama was only 8 years old when Ayers committed his crimes; he is not 8 years old NOW. Although he acts like it and is counting on his loyal fans to either be A) completely stupid; or B) agree with his radical Leftist views.

I don't have friends like that either, but I don't do background checks on my friends. To be honest, I'd never heard of Ayers before this stuff started coming around. I also couldn't tell you the names of people committing terrorist attacks when I was in elementary school. Unless someone told me, I'd be naive.

Also you left out option C. C = hope that even with all of that crap, they still manage to prefer him over McCain/Palin. Some people aren't happy with some of his BS, but would take him over those two (at least Palin anyway, ugh!!). It's not like we have great options running right now. Just like 2000 and 2004. yay for america...

Barack Obama didn't have a friend who went off the deep end; he befriended someone who DID go off the deep end, and Obama knew it when he befriended this guy. There is an enormous difference.

And if it were John McCain who had these pals, the Democrats would be screaming bloody murder and you know it. Heck, they were outraged that Sarah Palin was associated with an Alaska secession group, even after it was proven that she was never even associated with them. like i said before, i've never heard of Ayers. I'm not as old as Obama, but can you tell me what happened in the world of current events when you were 8 years old? I don't think I can, and that wasn't even 20 years ago. Unless someone told him who Ayers was (which IS possible, I'm not saying it isn't), then you can't say he knew for sure.

Also curious -- if this guy did everything people say he did...how on EARTH is he not in prison right now? Is our justice system that terrible, or did the guy get off for his crimes? I'm just having a hard time understanding how someone who is accused of blowing up buildings and killing innocent people was still walking the streets and able to befriend Obama.

What is so disturbing is how idiots will stand behind such an intelligent, eloquent, empty suit named Obama (who doesn't remember anything when questioned about shady associations) who has clear ties to and is backed by, Palestinian, Syrians, convicted felons, slum lords, radical Reverends, domestic terrorist, ACORN, and countless others shady people and he some how earns a free pass.

Swap these associations on McCain and expose McCain for the same associations and he would be history!!! What is it about you lefties where Obama gets a free pass??? Obama is the real Manchurian candidate!!!

all of your posts indicate that you think obama is the devil and McCain is flawless. Isn't that exactly the same thing you are claiming all the lefties are doing?

There is a firestorm brewing and it's right up Obama's ass, McCain is absolutely not perfect and no presidential candidate ever was. Obama in life has a proven track record of poor judgment, and shady associations and the list is too long, McCain's list is short, Keating which he was cleared of. Obama has ties to so many radicals it's ridiculous that he is even on the Democratic Ticket!!!

Well, my grandad said a sure sign of age is when the President is YOUNGER than you, and Obama is a year younger than me.

You've *never* heard of him? I can understand why you might not have heard of the things he did prior to this campaign, but his name has been in the news regarding his relationship to Obama since at least last year during the primaries.
