But the case is, why would Ayers support him if he didn't?

Just as recent as the late 90's he claimed he wanted to do more, admitted to being involved int eh bombings, and STILL wants to overthrow our government for a socialist/ communist government.

WHY would this man throw his support behind ANY conventional politician, if he doesn't believe in our form of government?

Personally I think this speaks volumes about Obama. You don't back someone that doesn't have your same values and convictions, and you certainly don't kick off their political career in your living room if they aren't supporting what you support.

Not only can I tell you the current events when I was 8, but things that happened decades and many tens of decades before I was ever born.

Those that do not know history are doomed to repeat it. Anyone that wishes to lead a country should know, at a minimum, that country's history even if they are ignorant of the history of the world.

Yes actually..

What would you like to know?

Would you like to know about the Baader Meinhopf, the Red Brigade (who Ayers fashioned the Weather Underground after)..

The PLO? Yasser Arafat?

1972 Munich Olympics?

Black Panthers?

Vietnam?

Kent State?

You see, you're from a different generation.. LOADED with 24 hour news channels.. Cartoons 24 hours a day.

OUR generation, we gathered around the TV after dinner and watched the local, then the network news. We didn't have Discover, or Dirty Jobs.

Hell, when I was 8, we had ONE channel, and watched whatever they decided to show us. 8 year old white boy watched SOOOOOOOUUUL Train at least once a week, it was on right after American Bandstand.

No one is implying McCain is flawless. But this connection alone with Ayres is a definite disqualifier. It takes a very small level of discernable connecting-the-dots with Ayres, Rezko, Wright, and Obama’s Senate voting record to realize how radically left this man is. Read that again… I’m not just saying left; I’m saying RADICALLY left.

McCain, having abandoned his conservative base, has at least sat in the middle; where average America is supposedly sitting. Again, a very small level of discernable research would reveal the difference between the two. Obama has been quite effective in covering this up. Americans are drinking this koolaid because the media refuses to expose this man for who he really is. Obama is going to get elected with a democrat controlled congress and America is going to get what they are asking for.

What primaries were last year? You just showed another sign of getting old.

Oh, Ken, you do NOT want to go there. I'm not sure I *know* anyone older than you.

I was thinking debates, straw polls, and the nomination race itself which I in my confused mind tend to call "primary" - when Hillary and others were addressing this.

And as such I was just pointing out another of the signs to you. Seems that you are "aging" mighty fast, youngster.

If a renowned bigot endorses your campaign, does that make you a bigot? Same reasoning. People may hold position A, B, and C and espouse political philosophy D - but it doesn't mean the person they support and endorse coincides with all of those. I support McCain, but there's a TON of stuff we disagree on, and I'm mainly voting for him against Obama.

If Hamas endorses Obama, does that make him a terrorist - or does it just mean they formed an opinion, based on who's available? Does that mean his agenda coincides with theirs, or that he is more likely to allow them to advance their own without interference? It doesn't mean anything.

I personally think Pat Robertson has always, always been nuttier than a fruitcake, but I certainly wouldn't consider an endorsement by him to indicate that his candidate is on the same page with him.

As we all are, and we're all going to the same place. You're just closer to the finish line.
