Anderson Cooper's show, some investigative reporting: minutes from the meetings of The Annenberg Challenge Project (Annenberg Foundation)reveal Obama & Ayers served 7 years on the Annenberg Challenge together. Obama was the CHAIR for this "Project". This fund gave monies to all kinds of radical groups & projects.

They also served years on the Woods Fund. Recipients of that fund included - Jeremiah Wright's church!!

Serving on these 2 boards - vaulted him into politics, with Ayers' backing/endorsement!!!

everyone knows obama lied. question is, who cares? would YOU want to be associated with some crazy dude while running for the presidency? We all know psychopaths and are friendly with some nutjobs. If you claim you're not, you're full of ####. You never know if you're friendly with someone like Ted Bundy. I question quite a few people I've been friendly with, but being friends doesn't mean you agree with 100% of what they do.

Obama wants to serve this country well. He bleeds red, white, and blue. Almost all politicians do. You don't become a politician or run for president to make a quick buck (Obama could certainly make more money in the private sector). I think it's ridiculous that stupid stories like this even matter to people. It's about as stupid as caring who gave Bill Clinton a blowjob. I mean, I know it's a little concerning, but one of these days I might find out that some guy I knew in high school is some crazy russian terrorist spy. Would that change me from a good person to a bad one? I'd like to hope not, even though I sorta think it's possible this could happen

I'm not really defending Obama here, but I am saying that someone in his shoes is here to serve our country as best as he can. Take it or leave it based on his policies and not who he used to help him jump-start his political career so he could serve America, or someone who he was friendly with back in the day.

then again i'd expect nothing less from people who already made their decision and want to focus on the smear campaigns instead of the facts about their policies. But its the facts about their policies that'll determine who makes the better president.

I've been saying from the beginning that this is a story that's never gonna get any legs. No one's vote is going to change over this issue. While recent information has made it clear his relationship is more than a tangential case of they live in the same neighborhood and yes some 13 years ago he met in his living room - it's been more than that - there's not a lot of evidence that Obama espouses some of his radical views.

If you want to build a case against Obama, you'd be better off looking at what he's going to do, or what he plans to do. Frankly, it kind of bugs me much more that Bill Ayers is a Distinguished Professor at U. of Illinois in Chicago. What kind of institution puts a guy like him in a professor's role? What, they couldn't get Charles Manson?

But let's consider THIS -

Suppose a similar kind of relationship - however tenuous - existed between McCain, and say, a high level KKK or white supremacist. Do you think that the left would for a second refrain from exploiting such a relationship? Heck, they're already citing racism for just about anything that besmirches Obama, real or imagined.

Obama and Ayres pushed a radical agenda in the schools of the Chicago area ,but you seem not to mind that.

Obama is a millionaire now and on jobs that certainly dont pay millions, where did the money come from? How did his wife deserve her fancy lucrative job, other than being married to Obama and having buck teeth. What proof have you that he could have gotten this rich any other way, ?? His associations with Ayres are a lot more inriguing than some kid you went to High school with. Obama was sought out by Ayres because he had the qualifications Ayres was looking for to create this Manchurian Candidate. I might add that Ayres was just one of many such as Frank Davis ,Al Mansour ,his black Muslim benefactor, and Emil Jones, some might see a conspiracy by radicals to create an Obama.

You yourself have already drank the Kool-aid and made your decision to support the Zerobama. Please show me a major bill he has passed that is a part of his policies. Although I dont agree with some things John Mccain has gotten passed thrrough the Senate, at least he has a past history.

Everyone knows that strange person, Imno. I'm not necessarily saying they are a "psycho" -- but you don't know anyone unhealthily obsessed with guns, religion, racist, over-obsessed with politics, or any possible quirk that has ever led to some sort of terrorist or extremist activity? Say it ain't so! If you live in SOMD you have met at least some people like that. They're everywhere.

I'm not saying these people would ever do anything...they could just be weird or excited by this or that...but that doesn't mean there is not a single potential chance in this world that they're insane and would do something. That's all I'm trying to say. Based on what I've seen in these forums with all of the racism and extreme political views, I wouldn't be shocked if I heard someone from here did something one day. Chances are slim, but I wouldn't be shocked.

That's all I was saying. You can never be so sure. And that's not even counting the Ted Bundys of the world, who were considered the nicest, friendliest people that their friends knew. You -never- know. So I stand by my argument.

Oh and I haven't made my decision on this election yet. Still a tossup between Obama and McCain (though Palin is making it really tough for me to vote that way at the moment). I haven't drank the coolade like you and most of the other people on this board who always think they're right, even when they're wrong. I'm not saying I'm right, but most of ya Republicans (and the psycho liberals) never believe they're wrong. I just find it hard to believe that people who voted Bush over McCain and then voted Bush for 2 terms of presidency can feel like they're 100% always surely right on politics. It blows my mind.

I care vaguely that he lied - even though it's common practice among politicians, it's still wrong to lie. My bigger problem is what he lies ABOUT.

I do not have anarchist friends who bomb federal buildings and try to kill people.

I can get past Rev. Wright, even though I think he's a race baiting America-hater. But for the President of the United States to count among his friends an admitted criminal who should be in prison right now - I have a problem with that.

And the Barack people can say all they want that Obama was only 8 years old when Ayers committed his crimes; he is not 8 years old NOW. Although he acts like it and is counting on his loyal fans to either be A) completely stupid; or B) agree with his radical Leftist views.

Barack Obama didn't have a friend who went off the deep end; he befriended someone who DID go off the deep end, and Obama knew it when he befriended this guy. There is an enormous difference.

And if it were John McCain who had these pals, the Democrats would be screaming bloody murder and you know it. Heck, they were outraged that Sarah Palin was associated with an Alaska secession group, even after it was proven that she was never even associated with them. And this group never planted bombs and killed people.
