I still don't buy the BS that folks don't want negative ads. Negative ads are more interesting. In a culture with a zero attention span, negative ads are what keep everyone's attention. I didn't attach anyone's proposed policies. I think they are all a bunch of lying sacks of crap and none of them do what they say once they get into office. But to act like one candidate has more of a clue than the other at this point is laughable.

Furthermore, I am not running for office so I am free to bash and state my opinions. It doesn't mean a thing cause I don't need a vote.

Define "negative". The ads McCain has run against Obama have been either factual or at least based on fact - either way, they are informative and encourage me to look up stories on it.

If he ran an ad saying Obama's wife was a whore and his kids were stupid, THAT would be a negative attack ad.

Personally, I'd define the 2nd statement as a negative ad, but in our sensitive culture, any ad that disagrees with another position would be considered negative, so for the sake of this thread, we'll go with the 1st statement. Does that make sense?
