Ayers speech cancelled

I saw the Governor of Nebraska on and he said he didn't care "what reason" they gave for cancelling the speech, just as long as they did.

Quote:
Friday's announcement comes after Gov. Dave Heineman and others asked the university to rescind its invitation.

"Bill Ayers is a well-known radical who should never have been invited," Heineman said earlier Friday. "The people of Nebraska are outraged.

"This has gone beyond the University of Nebraska. It's gotten to citizens all across this state, and they're not happy because this is a public university."

Heineman called on NU President J.B. Milliken and Chuck Hassebrook, chairman of the NU Board of Regents, to tell Ayers to stay home.

This is mainstream, middle America. Flyover country. They don't take too kindly to this kind of character out there. But there's a lot more of them in this country than the media would have you believe. And there are a LOT more moderate Democrats in this country than there are liberal Democrats.

No. The difference between them is McVeigh was a RIGHT WING nut, and Ayers is a LEFT WING nut.

However, I will concede that you are partially correct.

I'm just saying. McVeigh was right wing & Ayers is left wing. McVeigh got the chair (as well he should) Ayers is out of jail, supposedly an upstanding citizen now and teaching our children!!!

I know there was a big difference in the enormity of the OK City bombing vs. the stuff Ayer's group did. But still. The left envelopes their wingnuts. WE get rid of ours.
