a US citizen can only give up citizenship through a couple of ways, ALL OF WHICH require documentation. If this document exists it should be easy to find.

They actually have the documentation of Obama being admitted to school, as an Indonesian citizen - a requirement at that time to attend the schools he attended. And, there was no allowance for dual citizenship at the time.

The question is whether that constitutes sufficient documentation, and whether he's actually a citizen NOW, or an illegal alien.

it doesn't to the USA. If you are abroad, you must apply to renounce your citizenship at the US consulate. In the US you have to do so through the state department.

just because you file a suit and pay your filing fee doesn't mean the suit has any merrit, of that you have standing i the case, or that you are even in the right court. (although admittedly it has been a while since i took constitutional law)

all you have to do is send hawaii $5 and they will verify that they do indeed have that record. anyone can request this information

BTW, factchecker has photos of a copy they say is certified and does indeed contain a raised seal.

So, if I fight for a foreign nation's army, declare my allegience to that nation, gain citizenship there through their processes that do not allow me to be a dual citizenship holder...... I'm still an American in the US's eyes?

If you know this to be true, please contact the judge in the Berg case. This would clear up a huge issue that hasn't been decided in that case yet. (No, I'm not suggesting that Obama fought for another army, I was speaking hypothetically)

Wrong, that is only one of the ways to renounce your citizenship and the 5th way listed under the law, see 8USC1481.
