I haven't seen enough story beyond the few on the web, but if THAT's out of the norm, isn't it more out of the norm to travel all the way to Pittsburgh just to mutilate yourself, lose some cash and give yourself a black eye?

I think the story is certainly *bizarre*, and it has some inconsistencies, but the attack itself isn't inconsistent with what's already happened - bullets fired at cars with McCain stickers, people assaulted and so forth. Some people openly claim that opposition to Obama is blatant racism.

Geez, imagine what kind of crap they'll spew when he's elected.

Unlike most Obama supporters, I say let the law handle it, if found to be untrue she should be prosecuted and thrown in jail. Has nothing to do with McCain. But if Obama supporters commit fraud in 14 different states to a group Obama supported and funded, he has no knowledge of anything and gets another free pass... idiots!!! What I find odd about her scare is that in violent crimes, the criminal would NOT have taken the time to do such a perfect B at a depth that looks like a scratch that will heal and it looks so perfect and consistant. Not like something that happen fast and in a haste like most criminals do during a crime. I suspect (my own opinion) is she wanted to do a world win media spotlight like Joe the plummer, but for all the WRONG reasons... Again, lets wait and see what law enforcement finds out...
