Woman Attacked, Letter Scratched Into Her Face

Woman Attacked, Letter Scratched Into Her Face - Pittsburgh News Story - WTAE Pittsburgh

Police spokeswoman Diane Richard said the robber took $60 from Todd, then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim's car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using the knife to scratch the letter "B" into her face, Richard said.

Is this the latest come from behind strategy? Faking attacks by Obama supporters to somehow generate a wave of 'White Fear'?

What kind of sicko would carve a B into her own face to get her candidate elected anyhow?

Yes, well, McCain supporters are a crazy bunch of wackos...

Why that McCain volunteer’s “mutilation” story smells awfully weird; Update: Police to administer polygraph; conflicting evidence at scene

By Michelle Malkin • October 23, 2008 06:43 PM
Scroll down for updates…”Police planned to administer a polygraph test to Ashley Todd, 20, because her statements about the attack conflict with evidence from the Citizens Bank ATM where she claims the incident occurred, police said”…and more below on following her MySpace, Twitter, and Facebook trails…
Throughout my career, I’ve covered dozens of fake hate crimescampus hate crime hoaxes, Muslim hate crime hoaxes, fake noose hangings, etc., etc., etc. Most were perpetrated by liberals, but there have been some shameful ones on our side of the aisle as well.

No, it's apparently just a crazy McCain backer...

Yes, well, McCain supporters are a crazy bunch of wackos...

And from a reader who is a police officer:
“I’m a cop - 8th year now - and this McCain supporter attack just didn’t pass the “smell test” as soon as I read about it.
At this point, I’ll guess the shiner was inflicted either by a friend willingly as part of this hoax or a boyfriend in a domestic dispute.
The “B” is far to[o] shallow and clean to be taken seriously. Reminds me of the stab wounds that a “hero” would get when fighting off a phantom attacker - far to[o] superficial to have been done in what is a fairly violent encounter.
Either way, I’m voting McCain

Whatever. There's supposedly video of something at the ATM machine, which should easily prove & disprove parts of her story.

I read she's from out of town. It's a little odd that a 20yo would travel from Texas to PA just to volunteer for a campaign - unless they're being supported financially by some organization. Like the RNC or even ACORN, maybe.

If the story is bogus, then obviously, gal has some issues. But who knows - she might not be "Republican" or a "Republican volunteer". Maybe she's being paid by Obama supporters?

Time will soon tell.

Your theory is that it's an Obama supporter pretending to be a McCain supporter who pretended to be attacked by an Obama supporter?

Good thing it's Friday, I think you need some sleep.

You know the moment you saw this, you absolutely knew the Obama supporters would claim she faked it. You knew it. Just the other day an older woman was assaulted in New York for carrying a McCain sign. Hell, even in our own back yard, McCain signs are being defaced and there's "outrage" at Colonie South for daring to put one up on their property.

If it's proven true, the cry will go up that she asked for it, or that "B" means something else.

It's like when the Rather story broke out last election. Once the letter was proven a fake, they claimed it was based on a real letter, but maybe Karl Rove leaked out a "fake" to embarass....

Dammit, just admit you're wrong and move on. Isn't that easier? Instead of wild, convoluted stories that confirm how evil the Republicans are, why not just admit the obvious - some liberals are, too. Sometimes the simplest answer really is the truth.
