President-elect Obama Screwed Up Already

Obama Offers Rahm Emanuel Job of White House Chief of Staff

Obama’s apparent selection of Rahm Emanuel for White House chief of staff is an extremely disconcerting (if not wholly surprising) first indication on the “which Obama will we get” question. It suggests both that he wants to be ruthless and partisan and that he does not have a clear sense of how the White House works.

...

...I called attention to that one last week linking to a story about this possibility.

Now it's gonna get ugly.

I saw the post but I didn't think Rahm would take the job. The Clinton lackey sure likes to be on his knees in the WH (is that racist? Should it now be called the Presidential Palace?)

I was hoping that was just a rumor.

Well, we're gonna get some change alright. Thanks, you efftees who voted us into this.

And thanks, you efftee Republicans who couldn't get off your dead asses to vote against this crap, and you others who just had to be all righteous and not vote for the lesser of two evils. Sleep well with your new President, because you helped get him elected.

Democrats have been insane with anger for the last 8 years. And now it's payback time.

I voted for McCain/Palin. I just could not see throwing my vote away on a third party, by not voting, or by voting for the antichrist.

Is "antichrist" racist?

Perhaps it is Obama who owes Rahm Emanuel big time. From the following article published in 2005, Emanuel is described as being the sole driving force responsible for raising massive campaign contributions for the Democratic Party and the one who instilled the word "Change" to be used in Obama's speeches and campaign slogan:

Excerpt from an article published in 2005

“…will the Democrats be able to take advantage of the mess the GOP has made?

The answer depends, in many ways, on Rep. Rahm Emanuel of Chicago.”

"We're the party of change," Emanuel tells me. "We're the party of a new direction -- a break from rampant cronyism and the status quo. Period."
